THIS ROLE WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
- Product Positioning and Messaging: They are responsible for defining the unique value proposition of the product and crafting compelling messaging that resonates with the target audience.
- Go-To-Market Strategy: Developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market plans for new products, including identifying target markets, determining pricing strategies, planning promotional activities, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure a successful product launch.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conducting thorough market research and competitive analysis to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor offerings. They use this information to inform product development decisions and refine marketing strategies.
- Sales Enablement: Working in close collaboration with the Head of Sales / Regional Sales Managers to define the strategic plan for the NDIS/ADIS portfolio and delivering the sales team with the tools, training, and collateral they need to effectively sell the product. This includes creating sales presentations, product guides, competitive battle cards, and conducting product training sessions.
- Customer Insights: Gathering and analysing customer feedback and data to gain insights into customer behaviour, preferences, and satisfaction levels. They use this information to refine product positioning, messaging, and features to better meet customer needs.
- Product Launches: Planning and executing product launches to include coordination with cross-functional teams such as Global Product Management, sales leadership and Customer Services to ensure a seamless and successful launch.
- Product Training: Take the lead on Product Training for the full range of NDIS/ADIS portfolios, for both new starters and also the existing Sales Teams who require re-training.
- Performance Analysis: Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales data, market share, customer adoption rates, and customer satisfaction metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions for future initiatives.
- Collaboration: Collaborating closely with Global Product Management, Sales, Brand Management, Regulator and other departments to align on product strategy, messaging, and objectives.
Overall, the Product Manager plays a critical role in driving the success of the full product portfolio in the market by effectively positioning it, developing and executing go-to-market strategies, enabling the sales team, gathering customer insights, and analysing performance metrics to continuously refine and optimise marketing efforts.

Product Expertise and Market Analysis
- Serve as the expert on all NDIS/ADIS related issues.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Analyse market data to identify opportunities and threats and adjust strategies accordingly.
Product Positioning and Messaging
- Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates NDIS/ADIS from competitors.
- Create and maintain product value propositions and unique selling points.
- Ensure consistent and effective communication of product benefits to the market.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with R&D to guide product development based on market needs and feedback.
- Collaborate with HQ Product Managers, Sales Director, and Regional Sales Managers on new product initiatives and launches.
- Network within HQ to ensure new product development requirements are well-voiced and understood.
Customer Engagement and Feedback
- Engage with customers to gather feedback on products and improve marketing strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical partners.
- Act as the ‘go-to’ person for local clinical trials and manage related activities.
Sales Support and Training
- Create and deliver sales tools and training materials to support the sales team’s efforts.
- Collaborate with the Sales Management Team to ensure the sales force has the skills, knowledge, and collateral to execute the sales plan.
- Ensure that customer and internal staff are appropriately educated about product developments and new initiatives.
- Close collaboration with the Education Team to bring the NDIS/ADIS portfolio to our existing educational partners, or development of a new educational offering.
Regulatory Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure all marketing materials and product claims comply with industry regulations and standards.
- Oversee the creation and approval of marketing collateral, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Budget Management
- Manage the operational expenses budget to deliver plan objectives within budget.
- Monitor and control marketing expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Product Launches and New Initiatives
- Plan and execute product launches, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a successful market introduction of new products.
- Continuously refine and improve product strategies based on market feedback and performance data.
