We are looking for an EDC/VCM/IELLC Product Manager at our corporate headquarters located in Dallas, Texas. Essential Job Duties: Function as the key representative with functional groups that support the EDC/VCM/IELLC businesses (i.e. demand chain planning, manufacturing, technical service, sales (domestic and international), customer service, sales administration, finance and legal). Develop a strong working knowledge and understanding of the Vinyl’s business and manufacturing operations in areas that have a direct impact to the business (i.e. production costs, transportation, and market pricing strategies). Manage daily/monthly EDC/VCM and Ingleside Ethylene LLC (IELLC) co-products production and sales balances to align with contractual commitments and operational goals. Evaluate short and long-term EDC/VCM strategies to maximize plant operating capacity in conjunction with supply/demand cycles. Perform as the lead business contact for domestic/international customers regarding contract negotiations, volume forecasts, order timing, and billing issues. Evaluate and recommend business improvements that would assist management in meeting/exceeding sales, profitability, and operational goals. Prepare for increased responsibility in business management by active involvement in all areas of the EDC/VCM/PVC business chain. Track and analyze monthly sales and netback performance, assist in developing the business outlook for future performance, and report changing market conditions to business management. Work with demand chain planning to evaluate order and shipping patterns, freight costs, inventory levels, and equipment concerns to maximize performance and profitability. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) with preferred 5 years of manufacturing, technical, business management or sales experience. Vinyl’s business chain and process knowledge with understanding of applications in various plastics industries preferred. Possess strong writing and verbal skills to support internal and external communications. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP applications to manage day-to-day business evaluation and analysis. Ability to work with cross-functional teams to formulate and execute negotiation strategies for successful conclusion of commercial contracts.
