This role includes aspects of both product management and data analytics, ensuring that our platform’s data pipeline and reporting outputs are accurate, actionable, and aligned with business needs. A successful candidate will design and oversee the repository structure that ingests platform data, transforms it into usable outputs, and publishes reports to internal stakeholders and the wider company. They will act as both a product owner—gathering requirements, defining priorities, and ensuring data/reporting tools evolve with business goals—and as a data analyst, validating accuracy and delivering insights. This role requires hands-on knowledge of reporting and visualization platforms (e.g., Grafana, Tableau, Looker, Power BI) as well as the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Technology, Content, Finance, and Executive stakeholders. This position will be on-site with our client, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and will report directly to the client regarding the project. Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end lifecycle of data flows from platform systems into reporting repositories. Define and maintain the reporting repository structure, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives. Partner with stakeholders across Product, Technology, Content, Finance and others to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions. Product manage, validate, and publish recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations. Establish standards for data verification and quality assurance before outputs are shared. Serve as the product owner for reporting technologies and workflows, driving roadmap and enhancements. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure data pipelines and APIs deliver clean, accurate, and timely data. Train and enable internal teams on how to access and interpret reporting outputs. Monitor adoption and continuously improve reporting usability, performance, and impact. Stay current on data visualization, BI tools, and reporting best practices. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in product management, data analysis, or business intelligence, ideally in a technology, streaming, or media environment. Strong proficiency with reporting and visualization platforms (Grafana, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar). Solid understanding of data pipelines, repository structures, and reporting architectures. Experience gathering requirements from diverse business stakeholders and translating them into clear technical/data solutions. Ability to validate, QA, and troubleshoot data discrepancies. Exceptional communication skills, able to bridge technical detail with executive-level storytelling. Comfortable operating in a hybrid role that combines product ownership with data analysis. Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-impact outputs in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Attributes Background in streaming, content, or digital media platforms. Familiarity with AWS data services (Redshift, RDS, etc.) or equivalent cloud-native data ecosystems. Understanding of ad tech, FAST channels, or digital distribution data flows. Experience leading cross-functional data/reporting initiatives. Work Setup: Onsite Hours: Full Time 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, 40 hours/week Who are we?
