Hyper Solutions is seeking a Product Manager - Digital Services (Data Center Infrastructure) to define and scale software and analytics-enabled services for data center power distribution equipment, including switchboards, PDUs, RPPs, STS, and modular power pods with integrated UPS and cooling systems. This role will lead the development of condition-based monitoring, predictive diagnostics, and AI-driven system intelligence, leveraging embedded sensors, firmware, and cloud-based analytics to proactively identify equipment and system-level performance risks. Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Software, Data Science, Services, and Sales, this individual will translate customer and market needs into scalable digital offerings that improve reliability, uptime, and lifecycle performance for hyperscale and enterprise data center customers. Core Responsibilities Define and execute the long-term digital services roadmap for data center power distribution equipment and modular power pods Identify customer pain points and develop value propositions around uptime, maintenance optimization, energy efficiency, and lifecycle analytics Develop business cases, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies for subscription-based and service-based offerings Partner with Electrical, Firmware, and Software Engineering teams to standardize embedded sensor architectures across equipment Define requirements for data pipelines, edge computing, cloud platforms, dashboards, and APIs Lead development of predictive diagnostics algorithms and system-level intelligence across interconnected equipment Prioritize features and manage the product backlog using agile or hybrid product development methodologies Ensure interoperability with third-party DCIM, BMS, and facility management platforms Collaborate with data scientists to establish model training, validation, and continuous improvement feedback loops Support Sales and Marketing with value messaging, demonstrations, customer pilots, and technical positioning Define packaging, licensing, and subscription models for digital services Monitor performance metrics, including adoption, uptime improvement, and customer ROI Additional Responsibilities Benchmark competitive and adjacent digital platforms in industrial IoT, energy management, and data center infrastructure Transition analytics from rule-based alerts to predictive and prescriptive models Coordinate with Field Services and Commissioning teams to capture operational data and maintenance insights Partner with Quality and Compliance to ensure cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory alignment Engage strategic customers and partners in co-development and beta programs Continuously refine offerings based on customer feedback and operational performance data Build scalable platform capabilities across multiple equipment families and future product lines Requirements 5–10 years of experience in Product Management within industrial technology, IoT, energy systems, or data center infrastructure Demonstrated experience launching software or data-driven products from concept through commercialization Strong understanding of sensor technologies, embedded systems, and data analytics architectures Experience working cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, and software engineering teams Proven ability to manage product roadmaps and agile development cycles Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Background in electrical power systems, data center infrastructure, or industrial automation preferred Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, predictive maintenance, and condition-based monitoring platforms preferred Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, and visualization/dashboard tools preferred Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and data privacy best practices for connected industrial devices preferred MBA or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field preferred Why Hyper? Location Onsite in Richmond, VA, or remote, depending on candidate location and business needs. Compensation The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $160,000 - $175,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include, but are not limited to, relevant experience, skills, certifications, and location. This hire will be eligible for a discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
