The technology that we incorporate into our water treatment solutions for both our ‘Engineering Projects Delivery’ as well as ‘Equipment Sales & Service’ are key to providing quality and reliability.
At FILTEC we have a team Product Managers with a technical and commercial remit combining: Applications Engineering, Sourcing and Supplier Management (Similar to Merchandising roles in retail; although specific to Engineering).
This role is about ensuring the development and management of innovative water treatment products. This role is about selecting and managing the technologies and supplier relationships used in our process engineering solutions. Working as a Product Manager is fantastic opportunity for a technical person who is business-orientated.
Ideal for a commercially focused engineer interested strategy rather than sales or project delivery. A role with a remit and responsibility is usually found in larger corporate businesses – however at FILTEC the opportunity to make an impact is greater within our authentic medium sized company.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy – Analysis and implementation (e.g. GMROI)
Product Lifecyle Management – intro, grow, mature
Sourcing innovative products – identifying and incorporating the best water treatment technologies
Supplier Management – price & supply performance
Application Engineering & Technical support – Effective & Efficient key documentation; such as specifications and manuals
