To revolutionize the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry through innovative technology that enhances customer experiences, optimizes operations, and drives growth. The Job in a Nutshell 💡 We are looking for a Product Manager – Accounting to lead the development and expansion of Foodics Accounting, a core financial product within the Foodics Financial Services ecosystem. This product will enable restaurant operators to manage their accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and reconciliation directly within the Foodics platform, eliminating the need for external accounting tools. The role focuses on building a regionally compliant, automation-first accounting platform that seamlessly integrates with Foodics POS, Payments, and Financial Services products. Build an accounting platform deeply integrated with the Foodics Financial Services ecosystem. Ensure the product supports end-to-end financial workflows for restaurants, from transaction capture to financial reporting. Design accounting workflows compliant with regional tax authorities, including ZATCA (Saudi Arabia), UAE VAT regulations, Egyptian Tax Authority and other regional compliance frameworks. Ensure the system supports VAT, e-invoicing, and regulatory reporting requirements across markets. Develop automation rules for bookkeeping and reconciliation to minimize manual accounting tasks. Enable automated categorization of transactions from POS, payments, and expenses. Design smart accounting workflows tailored for restaurant operations. Ensure seamless integration with Foodics POS, Foodics Payments, Inventory & purchasing, Payroll and expenses and banking integrations. Build APIs and integrations with external financial systems where necessary. Translate product vision into roadmaps, PRDs, and execution plans. Work closely with engineering, design, compliance, and financial experts. Prioritize features based on customer value, regulatory requirements, and scalability. Conduct market research on regional accounting solutions and regulatory environments. Gather feedback from accountants, restaurant operators, and finance teams. Identify opportunities to simplify financial workflows for SMEs and enterprise restaurant groups. To conclude, you’ll build a regionally compliant accounting platform for restaurant businesses that integrates operations, payments, and POS data to automate bookkeeping and provide a financial system tailored for hospitality operators in the Middle East. What We’re Looking For❓ 5+ years experience in Product Management, preferably in Fintech, Accounting, ERP, or Financial SaaS. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience building products with tax compliance or regulatory frameworks. Ability to work with complex financial workflows and automation systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, compliance, and finance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with accounting platforms (QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, Odoo, etc.). Knowledge of VAT, e-invoicing, and tax regulations in the Middle East. Experience building products for hospitality or retail industries. Background in Fintech or embedded finance products. What We Offer You❗ We believe you will love working at Foodics!
