- Managing and evolving home lending products across their lifecycle, balancing customer needs, commercial outcomes and product obligations
- Leading the end-to-end product requirements for the Australian Government 5% Deposit Scheme, including eligibility settings, reporting, data submissions, guarantee place management, controls and remediation
- Acting as a product subject matter expert, providing guidance on Scheme eligibility, product rules, policy interpretation and operational requirements
- Using customer, market, competitor and performance insights to identify opportunities to improve growth, retention, customer experience and portfolio outcomes
- Monitoring product performance, risks and emerging opportunities and translating insights and policy changes into clear priorities and business requirements
- Maintaining product roadmaps and backlogs and coordinating delivery across Distribution, Operations, Credit, Risk, Compliance, Data and Technology
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including Housing Australia
- Supporting strong product governance through compliance reviews, audits, assurance activities, issue management and regulatory reporting
- Maintaining product documentation, procedures, controls, guidance and training materials to support consistent and compliant delivery.

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- Experience in product management, business analysis, product operations or scheme administration within home lending or financial services
- The ability to translate external rules and policy changes into product requirements, customer journeys, processes, controls and delivery priorities
- Strong analytical and delivery capability across reporting, data quality, backlogs, testing, assurance and issue remediation
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to bring cross-functional teams together to deliver practical outcomes
- A customer-led and commercially minded approach, with the ability to balance customer needs, product obligations and sustainable portfolio outcomes
- Strong attention to detail and ownership, particularly across eligibility requirements, reporting, controls and supporting evidence
- The ability to adapt to changing policy, Scheme requirements, customer demand and business priorities
- A tertiary qualification in business, finance, economics, product management or a related discipline is desirable
- Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or agile delivery professional will be highly regarded.
