Helcim is searching for a talented and passionate Product Manager to join us on our mission to become the world’s most loved payments company.
As a Product Manager you will be a key player in propelling our cutting-edge products to new heights in the market. Your contributions will be instrumental in not only attracting and retaining users but also enhancing our product’s overall performance. You’ll be an integral bridge between product development, accounting, data analytics, design, and marketing, ensuring our products continuously evolve to meet our merchants needs.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and maintain infrastructure for money movement between our financial partners, Helcim, our merchants, and our merchants customers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple product teams to support the release of new payment rails as well as new financial services across each geography and industry we serve.
  • Translate vision & strategy into a clear product roadmap to drive growth.
  • Create end-to-end experiences for both internal facing teams as well as merchants within our platform.
  • Engage with third party banking or technology partners to add additional capabilities to our platform.
  • Analyze user behavior, conduct market research, and leverage data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and pain points.
  • Serve as a liaison between the development team and internal/external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Have a minimum of 3+ years of relevant product management experience, preferably in the payments, fintech, or SaaS space.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, technology) .
  • Are able to drive cross-functional product alignment by influencing without authority.
  • Are empathetic and are able to understand the experiences of our merchants.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and familiarity with SQL or other data querying languages.
  • Knowledge of startup industry trends, funding cycles, and emerging technologies.
  • Have experience in a start-up/growth environment and are excited by the prospect of disproportionately impacting direction and processes.

Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada and be located in Calgary for this position. Helcim uses a hybrid work structure where team members can work 3 days in the Calgary office (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) and 2 days (Tuesday/Thursday) at home.
