For more information, please visit http://www.ixigo.com Job Description About the Role: As a Product Manager - Homepage and Personalisation at ixigo, you will lead the evolution of our homepage into a sophisticated, AI-driven personalization service. Your mission is to decode traveler intent in real-time, ensuring every user sees the most relevant products and content the moment they open the app. You will balance user experience with business growth, driving engagement and cross-sell conversions through rigorous experimentation and cutting-edge logic. Responsibilities: Personalization Vision & Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for a hyper-personalized homepage. You will transition our current widget prioritization from rule based heuristics to an advanced Personalization Service that adapts to user behavior, past bookings, and real-time intent Widget Prioritization Logic: Build and maintain the "brain" of the homepage. You will own the logic that decides which widgets appear in what order, ensuring a seamless balance between user relevance and business priorities Contextual Upsell & Cross-sell: Identify the "golden moments" in a user’s journey to suggest high-value add-ons. Whether it’s suggesting a hotel after a flight search or insurance during a return visit, you will build the triggers that drive contextual discovery User Onboarding & Retention: Craft the first-mile experience for new users. You will design onboarding flows that minimize friction while capturing enough preference data to kickstart the personalization engine Continuous Experimentation: Be the champion of A/B testing. You will constantly run experiments on UI layouts, widget ranking, and recommendation carousels to move the needle on engagement and conversion Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the central node between Design, Backend, Frontend, Analytics, and the AI/ML teams. You will translate complex business needs into PRDs and user-centric designs Data-Driven Optimization: Define and track North Star metrics for the homepage. You will monitor widget performance, bounce rates, and cross-sell funnels, using these insights to iterate on the personalization model Qualifications: 2–4 years of experience in Product Management, ideally within a high-growth B2C tech company or an OTA. Experience with recommendation engines or growth-focused roles is a huge plus Algorithmic Thinking: A strong understanding of how recommendation systems work and the ability to define logic for ranking and sorting dynamic content Analytical Rigor: You are a "data-first" PM. You should be comfortable diving into SQL, Mixpanel, or Clevertap to understand user cohorts and funnel drop-offs User-Centric Mindset: An eye for great UX/UI. You understand that "personalization" should feel like a helpful concierge, not an intrusive salesperson Technical Fluency: While you don't need to code, you must be comfortable discussing API structures with backend devs and model features with data scientists Execution Excellence: Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deliver high-quality features in an agile environment Additional (Preferred): OTA Experience: Familiarity with the nuances of the Indian travel market and seasonal booking patterns AI/ML Exposure: Direct experience working with data science teams to deploy machine learning models Growth Mindset: A "hacker" mentality—constantly looking for small tweaks that lead to outsized gains in conversion Additional Information Responsible for safeguarding sensitive company data against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, and for reporting any suspected security incidents in line with the organization's ISMS (Information Security Management System) policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
The Product Manager will define and execute the roadmap for a hyper-personalized homepage, transitioning from rule-based heuristics to an advanced Personalization Service that decodes real-time traveler intent.
