EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • University degree(s) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred
  • Passion for user experience
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to structure and process complex topics
  • Result-driven: a driver for execution with proven management and leadership skills (leading with and without authority)
  • Decision maker: analytical abilities, innovative and creative problem solver with an obsession for quality
  • Strong expertise in requirement engineering
  • Excellent communication skills

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the Supply Chain (Planning) domain

  • Conduite d’exécution axée sur les résultats, avec des compétences avérées en gestion et en direction (diriger avec et sans autorité)
  • Personne capable de prendre des décisions : compétences analytiques et capacités à résoudre les problèmes de manière innovante et créative, avec une obsession pour la qualité
  • Solide expertise en ingénierie des besoins
  • Excellentes facultés de communication
  • La maîtrise de l’anglais (parlé et écrit) est obligatoire.

As a Product Manager for IBP Planning UI, you are a highly motivated, multi-disciplined, and experienced team player with a strong background in user interface design and development for supply chain planning processes. You are passionate about product management with an urge to deliver cutting-edge products in a dynamic result-driven environment. You will work on the entire lifecycle of development projects together with customers, SAP colleagues, and development partners. You will engage with customers and numerous stakeholders to gather feedback, understand customer needs and formulate product requirements to define and manage the product backlog for your development team.

  • Deliver on a vision, strategy, and roadmap. Communicate the vision and roadmap internally and externally, with your engineering team, stakeholders, partners, and customers
  • In collaboration with your team’s development manager and user experience designer:
  • Conduct Product Discovery with customers and track usage metrics to ensure delivery of feasible, desirable, and viable products with superior quality
  • Identify the biggest planner pain points and provide solutions
  • Define product requirements and user stories. Build and manage team backlog topics
  • Drive your team’s planning and execution of the agile development process. Be accountable for your team’s delivery
  • Foster customer co-innovation, act as a voice of the customer internally and ensure higher adoption of your solution
  • Prepare, publish, demo, and present your product internally and in customer-facing events
  • Be a team player and ensure the success of your team by using your strong social skills and being open to new ideas and intercultural cooperation
  • Stay curious about new development methodologies and keep abreast of relevant industry and technology trends and best practice
