JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role is a results–driven Product Manager focused on value creation and business leadership. This role will deliver on the strategic roadmap while ensuring initiatives meet customer needs and drive product financial results. The candidate will focus on business case development, roadmap prioritization and execution, and achieving financial targets.

Role Focus:

• Interconnection: Productization and optimization of the interconnection product set (virtual and physical cross connects, IP bandwidth, ecosystem access via the fabric, other ancillary services). Interconnection is the foundation for the FlexAnywhere Platform and customer solutions. Working in tandem with the Data Center product manager to drive holistic growth for both product sets across all types of customers.

The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of product financial performance, customer needs/problems, and will deliver results through execution. Success in this role will be achieved through roadmap execution and achieving measurable financial performance for the product set.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Results driven and action oriented
• 5+ years of product or business management experience
• Proven track record of driving product performance and delivering measurable business impact within the data center industry.
• Detailed understanding of the product set, market dynamics, and customer needs
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required (or comparable experience); MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Extensive keyboard usage
  Base Pay Range: Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $140,000 - $160,000. However, the actual pay range depends on each candidate’s experience, location, and qualifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Management and Improvement:

• Identify new initiatives and proactively influence the roadmap to maximize long-term product/ financial performance
• Create business cases for new initiatives (products, enhancements, optimization) with a clear market evidence driven focus on why, how, and the financial benefit
• Identify, track, and manage product KPIs

Product Development / Lifecycle:

• Own and execute the product roadmap with a clear focus on measurable financial outcomes and value delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (network, IT, engineering, marketing, sales, operations, finance) to drive execution against strategic priorities.
• Serve as the “Product Owner”, translating the strategy and vision into executable projects, prioritizing, and ensuring quality execution.
• Accountable for project outcomes

Organizational Engagement:

• Maintains a focus on Leadership, Trust, and Teamwork throughout all engagements
• Present business cases and project status to executives and cross functional teams for alignment, engagement, and resource requests.
• Partner with cross functional teams to execute on projects and optimize the product set
• Ensure adherence to Flexential’s best practices for product delivery and pre-defined processes
