The Product Management team at Shopee is the key focal point between the business, engineering and design teams. The team is responsible for implementing strategy, road maps and features, while adhering to business goals. It covers all functions including but not limited to Financial Services, Supply Chain, Search, Recommendation, Advertising, Order, Promotion, User, Anti-Fraud, Seller Service. JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Design the homepage & search related scenarios within Shopee App, including product architecture, front-end features, and information flow optimization, in order to increase the platform’s user base and conversion rate
  • Gain a deep understanding of users and identify their needs, continuously exploring their demands in Shopee’s e-commerce platform, and developing product solutions to improve their experience.
  • Develop product and operational plans that meet the demands of consumers while also taking into account the current business conditions of Shopee’s e-commerce platform and the needs of sellers, optimizing product information with the stakeholders, and satisfying consumer demands.
  • Collaborate with various departments such as Developers, UI designers, Product operations, Local PMs, and Operations, to ensure successful implementation of proposed plans, validating the effectiveness of the product through data analysis, and continuing to iterate and improve the product.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Final-year or penultimate student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Management, Product Management, Media, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese is essential to effectively facilitate cross-border communications and collaborations, ensuring seamless interaction with global teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce products and a basic understanding of overseas internet products. Prior internship experience in e-commerce or transaction-related products is preferred.
  • Strong teamwork, communication skills, responsibility, and resilience.
  • Proactive learners with a strong interest in product strategy and a desire to explore the underlying logic of products.
  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, problem-solving, and writing skills.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Full-time interns preferred
  • Part-time interns who can commit at least 3 working days a week are also welcome to apply
