Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

As a Microsoft Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining, owning, and communicating the product strategy and roadmaps across primarily our Microsoft 365 products and services. You will lead and govern the research, design, development, and implementation of new technologies when they are released by Microsoft as well as managing the strategy and lifecycle of our existing Microsoft 365 capabilities and how they integrate with other third-party end user applications and services.
This role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills combined with technical experience and expertise to ensure that product strategies support the realization of organizational goals and remain aligned across IT functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide thought leadership and technical direction on emerging Microsoft technologies and best practices, specifically where they can benefit Burberry
  • Defining and maintaining 3–5-year roadmaps for all Microsoft 365 products which support overarching organisational goals.
  • Support and evolve product governance and assurance
  • Lead on SharePoint Online architecture, governance, and content lifecycle management strategy and support data classification, retention, and compliance initiatives across Microsoft 365 in partnership with our SOC Team.
  • Manage Microsoft licensing models (E3, E5, etc.), ensuring optimal allocation and cost efficiency and partner with procurement to forecast licensing needs and track usage.
  • Design user adoption strategies with trusted partner vendors, including training, communications, and feedback loops and champion digital workplace transformation by promoting best practices and new capabilities to Burberry colleagues. Use telemetry to monitor adoption and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party tools that complement the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Convert business needs into technical requirements to streamline and simplify workflow using available M365 tools,aiming to improve colleagues’ productivity.
  • Partner with Burberry Engineering and AI Governance teams to understand how Microsoft AI (Copilot) could be effectively embedded into workflow and align with our overarching AI strategy.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards such as TOGAF, ITIL, and cloud security frameworks.
  • Manage relationships with third-party providers, ensuring vendor services align with business needs and compliancestandards
  • Communicate with senior stakeholders and enterprise architects across the organisation to gain support for initiatives with high levels of risk, impact, and complexity.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for digital transformation and improved digital experience, finding and using best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Embrace agile ways of working with a view to automating services wherever possible.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and/or resolve complex and high-risk issues through technical expertise and influencing colleagues across the organization.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and ensure that high availability architecture is in place for critical applications M365 applications and services
