But these platforms weren't built for a crypto-native world. Job Overview As Artemis' first Product Manager, you will be the critical bridge between our customers, founders, and engineering team — defining and executing the product strategy that will take us from Series A to becoming the definitive data platform for digital finance. This is not a typical PM role. You will be building the product function from the ground up at a company with 100k+ monthly active users, growing institutional adoption, and the mandate to redefine how the world invests in crypto. What you'll do: Be customer-obsessed (50%+ of your time): You will spend the majority of your time talking directly to customers — from liquid token funds to asset managers at Invesco and Franklin Templeton. You'll understand their workflows, pain points, and needs better than anyone. Customer feedback will be your North Star for product decisions. Synthesize and build conviction: Transform conversations with customers, founders, and opinionated engineers into a clear, actionable short-to-medium term roadmap. You'll need to develop strong product intuition about what matters most and build conviction around hard tradeoffs. Drive ruthless prioritization: Constantly re-adjust priorities based on customer calls, market conditions, and strategic bets. With limited resources, you'll need to identify the highest-leverage opportunities and ensure the team is always working on what will move the needle most. Align and unblock the team: Work with design, founders, and engineers (who have strong product opinions) to ensure everyone is aligned on priorities and has what they need to ship. You'll be the glue that keeps cross-functional execution moving fast. Run product experiments: Design and execute experiments to validate new product ideas before we commit significant engineering resources. Move quickly from hypothesis to learning. Make our products stickier: Drive the Terminal, Excel Plugin, and Datashare products to be better, stickier, and have more adoption over time. You'll own metrics like DAU/MAU, retention, feature adoption, and customer satisfaction. Solve customer pain points relentlessly: Prioritize and listen to customer support issues. Work with engineering to systematically eliminate friction and solve real problems customers face daily. Define product strategy and vision: Work closely with founders to understand our business model, competitive positioning, and strategic bets. Help shape the 6-12 month product vision and how it ladders up to making Artemis the Bloomberg of crypto. Build the PM function: As our first PM, you'll establish product processes, frameworks, and ways of working that will scale as we grow. Define how we measure product success, document decisions, and communicate with stakeholders. Own product metrics and analytics: Define, instrument, and monitor the key metrics that matter for each product line. Use data to inform decisions and measure impact of product changes. Conduct market and competitive analysis: Stay on top of what's happening in crypto data, institutional adoption of digital assets, and competitive products. Bring market insights that inform our product strategy. Contribute to company building: Support fundraising efforts with product updates for investors. Help recruit future product team members. Shape the company culture and contribute to the workplace you want to work at. Ship and iterate relentlessly: You will work closely with engineers who have strong product instincts. Your job is to help them build the right things, not just write specs. Embrace a culture of shipping fast and iterating based on feedback. Who you are You have 3–5+ years of product management experience, ideally with at least some time at a high-growth startup or in a 0→1 environment Based in the broader New York City area — this role requires close collaboration with founders and the team You're deeply passionate about crypto and investing. You believe crypto can democratize access to investing and want to build products that empower everyone from retail investors to institutional asset managers You're customer-obsessed and energized by spending 50%+ of your time talking to users, understanding their problems, and validating solutions You have strong product intuition and can balance qualitative customer feedback with quantitative data to make sound decisions You thrive in ambiguity and can operate effectively when things are unclear, priorities shift, and you need to figure things out You can work with opinionated engineers and bring the best ideas to the surface, regardless of where they come from You move fast and have high agency.
