The onboarding area provides an exciting mix of direct customer interaction and fast evolving technology with a clear aim to provide the best first customer impression while also preventing financial economic crime. Are you up for a challenge? The team At Onboarding we are responsible for onboarding more than 300.000 new ING customers each year. With 4 multi-disciplined squads we welcome all retail customers and manage both mobile onboarding as well as onboarding via our assisted channels and provide onboarding capabilities to other domains such as Mortgages and Business Banking. We continuously explore, release, and test new features to provide secure processes that delight our customers. We do this in constant dialogue with our colleagues at Product fulfilment, KYC, Digital & Customer Interactions, Fraud & Cybersecurity and Customer Data. A superior customer experience and conversion optimalization are key to move forward. At ING we are mobile led, which means that the mobile channel has our strategic focus. We therefore look for a Product Manager with IT affinity and ability to create superior mobile customer flows. Do you have the execution power to turn a plan into action and follow up with engineers till you reach the desired end goal? Please read on! Role and responsibilities Take ownership of your team’s processes, including ideation, development, launch, growth, and maintenance. Conduct user research and (data) analysis to gain a deep understanding of the needs of our customers and identify areas of improvement. Understand the need to comply with regulations and policies but dare to debate options. Balance optimal customer value and profitability for ING. Understand architecture, relevant IT landscape and technologies across different business units and outside ING. Proactive work in a multidisciplinary, international team in an agile environment to make ideas and improvements come to life. Give and ask constructive feedback and foster an environment in which you and your colleagues can excel How to succeed You: Are fluent in English, professional working proficiency in Dutch is preferred Are currently residing in the Netherlands. Have Master or Bachelor degree Have +5 years relevant experience in product/IT delivery in the Financial Industry with customer onboarding processes Have strong analytical skills and take decisions based on data and facts Have intercultural and collaborative skills to interact with different stakeholders across teams and countries Experience with conversion optimalisation is an additional benefit Rewards & benefits We want to make sure that it’s possible for you to strike the right balance between your career and your private life.
