Position Summary:
NexGen Cloud, a leading cloud technology company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our cloud-based products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure the delivery of innovative and high-quality products that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company’s vision, market trends, and customer demands.
  • Product Roadmap: Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders such as product owners, sales, marketing, leadership to gather and document product requirements, ensuring clear and concise communication of user stories and use cases.
  • Product Development: Work closely with engineering teams to drive product development, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Product Backlog: Support product owners in defining and prioritising the product backlog.
  • User Experience: Advocate for an exceptional user experience by conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to drive product improvements.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and promotion plans.
  • Product Launch: Plan and execute successful product launches, ensuring proper documentation, training, and support materials are provided to internal teams and customers.
  • Product Performance: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics(KPIs), identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices to ensure NexGen Cloud products remain innovative and competitive.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and drive continuous product improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) or highly relevant experience.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in the cloud technology industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, technologies, and trends.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Customer facing experience.
  • Experience with UI/UX customer journey and best practices.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and motivate teams towards achieving product goals.
  • Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
  • Familiarity with microservices and RESTful APIs, databases.
  • Knowledge of security best practices including access management, encryption and fraud detection.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards.
  • Passion for technology and a strong customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
