Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward-thinking Product Manager to join our team in the UK. You will be instrumental in developing and scaling Equifax’s core Open Banking and Consented Data services across the UK and Europe. This role is a key part of our strategic focus on leveraging new data sources to deliver innovative products that empower our customers and drive our market leadership.
You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle, from ideation and strategy through to development, launch, and growth. You will be the voice of the customer, the market, and the product, ensuring that our offerings are not only compliant and secure but also provide genuine value and a seamless user experience.

WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU NEED

  • Strong current experience in product management or a similar role within the financial services or FinTech industry.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Open Banking data, APIs, and the customer consent journey.
  • A strong understanding of the regulatory landscape in the UK and Europe, specifically relating to Open Banking (e.g., PSD2, GDPR)
  • Experience in an Agile development environment, with a track record of successfully bringing new products to market from conception to launch.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.

Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define and execute the product strategy for our Open Banking and Consented Data solutions, aligning with Equifax’s overall business objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities, customer needs, and emerging trends in the Open Banking space across the UK and Europe.
  • Product Development: Own the product roadmap, translate market requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, legal, and compliance to deliver products.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Act as a subject matter expert on Open Banking regulations, including PSD2 and UK-specific frameworks. Ensure all products are designed with strict adherence to regulatory and security standards, including GDPR and data privacy laws.
  • Consent Journey Ownership: Champion and meticulously manage the customer consent journey, ensuring it is transparent, user-friendly, and fully compliant with regulatory requirements for explicit, informed, and revocable consent.
  • Go-to-Market: Partner with marketing, sales, and account management teams to successfully launch new products and features, develop compelling value propositions, and drive product adoption.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse product usage data, and gather customer feedback to inform ongoing product enhancements and lifecycle management.
