Payments Acceptance supports our customers to operate and grow their business, through the provision of innovative payment solutions that help them better engage with their customers and suppliers. The Product Team is accountable for the development and optimisation of online and in-person acquiring solutions to deliver payment products and services to our customers. We prioritise our customers above all else, relentlessly improving their experience and solving their unmet needs. We are looking for an experienced product manager, you will obsess over customers and strive to deliver better outcomes. You will have a growth mindset and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Ideally you will have Payments or Merchant Acquiring experience. The Product Manager is responsible for risk management and an SME on changes rolled out by business partners. Do work that matters Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Product Development: Lead the end-to-end technical product development and delivery, encompassing conceptualisation of new product design, articulation and prioritisation of business requirements, review of technical solution design, build, user testing and working with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful go-to-market launch. Product Management: Responsible for ensuring compliance with scheme requirements as well as relevant Group Policies and Standards. Risk Management: Responsible for proactively identifying, mitigating, and managing risks. Customer Centric Design: Responsible for understanding the needs of a customer including pain points, development of a product roadmap and ability to prioritise. Competitor Analysis: Understand the competitive landscape and product trends. Continuous Improvement: Manage change to continuously improve the product offering and processes to facilitate the overall customer experience. Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, build a strong relationship and manage in accordance with relevant Group Policies and Standards. Partnerships and supplier management: Responsible for working with suppliers to deliver innovative product solutions and ensuring that all product deliverables meet the required standards. We are interested in people who have Experienced Product Manager with 3+ years of relevant experience in financial services and with proven all-round product management skills. Preferred but not essential, have worked within the payments industry and have a working understanding of gateways and schemes. Demonstrated success in leading and executing on project. Strong stakeholder engagement and management capabilities. Success in the role requires the ability to lead and influence without direct authority. Strong problem-solving capabilities – need to have the motivation and be comfortable with investigating and providing recommended options/solutions to complex problems and technical nuances. Experience working with a vendor to deliver product development. Comfortable with navigating ambiguity and ability to work flexibly through change. Experience working in an agile environment and enjoy collaborating with others.
