Description

Pearl Abyss — the team behind Black Desert — is seeking a high-performing, innovative, results-oriented and customer-obsessed, Product Manager to help accelerate our gaming reach to millions of customers across all screens (PC, Mobile, Console, etc.) in Europe. Product Managers will be in a highly collaborative role and work with results-oriented teams - Live-ops, Marketing, Project Management, Public Relations, etc.
You will join a diverse and dedicated team working across multiple communities, platforms and games for our flagship title, Black Desert. This position offers an unparalleled opportunity to ensure all Pearl Abyss current and future titles will achieve European goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in gaming industry
  • Fluent in English (C1 or higher)
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • In-depth understanding of gaming industry and Black Desert (Avid Black Desert player preferred)
  • Unrelenting self-motivation and initiative; an enthusiastic “can-do” attitude is a must
  • High analytical skills and ability to translate this into concrete business strategies
  • Experience working with live operations products across a variety of platforms (PC, Xbox, PlayStation, iOS, and Android)
  • Able to relocate to the Netherlands
Responsibilities
  • (If Korean-language capable) Act as an intermediary between our European office and the Korean HQ
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow Pearl Abyss products focusing on European markets as well as expanding to other regions
  • Develop a strategic plan and define the vision for live services, ensuring all projects and products align to business goals
  • Review and analyze service, event, sales, and product-related data to implement improvements and future plans
  • Create weekly/monthly service plans and execute them for the live-service
  • Find solutions to improve the overall gaming experience, reporting issues and player’s feedback and explore new opportunities for product evolution
  • Develop and improve products using deep understanding of gaming industry trends and insights in trend development
  • Effectively use IP to set up business strategies and execute them
  • Monitor and manage the weekly server maintenance work and content updates
