JOB SUMMARY

This role sits within the Crown Developments digital team, responsible for providing the digital service supporting the case management and examination processes undertaken by our operational colleagues. A key part of a multi-disciplinary team this individual will be working with Civil Servants and contracted digital delivery consultants to deliver key results by taking the digital service from its minimum viable product state through to the next stages of product development.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a proactive, organised and communicative Product Manager to assist in managing this new portfolio of products. You will be a great team player looking to build their skills and confidence in product leadership. The ability to collaborate and converse with colleagues within and outside your teams on a level that builds trust and respect is essential. You must be willing to learn but bring experience and a willingness to challenge.
Planning Inspectorate product managers reach and influence outside of Digital and Data unit, working with civil servants, public and private sector stakeholders to deliver value and customer focused outcomes. While you will sit within Digital and Data, you will be in constant engagement with colleagues across the business, understanding user needs and interpreting them to design, as well as leading on and managing products and services for internal and external customers. In this role you will be responsible for managing the product roadmap for two different, but related, products. Reporting into your Service Manager, you will be the driver for building and maintaining this key portfolio and providing value to internal and external service users.
