ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience as a product manager with strong knowledge across home lending is a must. Home Lending Specialists or Product Analysts with experience across home lending looking for a new challenge will also be considered.
  • Happy to undertake a 12MFTC
  • Strong understanding of home loan products, mortgage markets, and regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skill.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Product Manager, Home Loans is responsible for administering business as usual activities to ensure products are functioning as intended through their life cycle, and compliance and operational requirements either internal or external are appropriately managed, The role will also look for opportunities to add value to the Product and Marketing function, as well other functions, through improved operational efficiency, uplifting of product knowledge, and identifying and addressing product deficiencies. Please note that this role is a 12 MFTC

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the portfolio performance as it relates to business as usual activities, build a strong understanding of the lifecycle of a home loan through the Police Bank ecosystem, and be the Subject Matter Export for the Home Loan portfolio
  • Ensure the customer journey for home loans is seamless, digital-first, and aligned with the brand’s service standards.
  • Act as a preferred point of contact for internal and external stakeholders concerning home loan products
  • Conduct regular product performance analysis and offer strategies based on insights
  • Leverage customer feedback and data insights to help continuously improve the product offering
  • Support or own as required incidents relating to home loan products ensuring customer outcomes and experience are front of mind, root cause is identified and addressed, and closure is achieved in a timely and compliant manner
  • Engage with sales, marketing, operations, and customer service teams to drive product adoption, uplift product knowledge, and improve customer satisfaction
  • Support training and communication initiatives for frontline staff regarding product updates and new offerings
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to ensure products remain competitive in pricing, features, and service
  • Monitor industry trends, economic conditions, and customer behaviour to anticipate market needs
