Description

PRODUCT MANAGER (TECHNICAL)

We are Promevo! Promevo is one of Google’s top 10 partners in the world and we’ve won Google Partner of the Year four times. Promevo provides a client first mentality by understanding our clients’ needs and selling and implementing the newest solutions from Promevo and Google to meet those needs.
In addition to Google technology, Promevo’s SaaS Platform (gPanel) provides our clients with a centralized user management interface providing administrators with visibility and control over all of their users’ data and settings with its robust suite of security features. We walk beside our clients to help them achieve their digital transformation and infrastructure goals by also providing Professional Services such as migrations, custom app development, fast track deployments, and white glove services.
This is an exciting time to be part of Promevo as we are growing rapidly. As the Product Manager for gPanel, you will be the ‘CEO’ of the product, owning the vision, strategy, and execution for the industry’s leading Google Workspace management platform. You will drive the roadmap for a product used by thousands of IT administrators managing hundreds-of-thousands of users worldwide, empowering them to automate workflows, secure their organizations, and manage their Google Workspace environment with unparalleled efficiency and control. Your mission is to deepen our market leadership by delivering innovative features, expanding our platform capabilities, and obsessing over the needs of our core users: the enterprise IT professional and the users they manage.
By joining the Promevo Team, you will find that our company culture is at the heart of our success. Promevo’s core values center around building trust, investing in care of each other, owning our work, respecting our differences, and engaging in positive attitudes. By living out these values each day, we build supportive teams that nurture development and growth, both individually and professionally.

Our Promevo team members are committed to living out the core values below:

  • Build and Extend Trust – Show respect and listen. Do what you say you will do. Be transparent and dependable.
  • Keep it Human – Invest in relationships. Show empathy. Do right by others. Take care of yourself, your family, and each other.
  • Own It – Become an expert in your role. Own the outcome. Finish what you start. Answer for the results.
  • Differences Make Us Stronger – Respect Differences. Seek to include different perspectives. Learn from each other.
  • Attitude is Contagious – Be fully engaged. Take pride in what you do. Spread your positivity. Courage. Energy. Passion. Purpose.

REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE):

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a significant portion focused on a B2B SaaS product.
  • Proven experience managing a product targeted at a technical audience, such as IT administrators, security professionals, systems engineers, or developers.
  • Demonstrable track record of owning and driving the full product lifecycle: from ideation and research through development, launch, and iteration.
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to comfortably and credibly discuss technical concepts, manage architectural trade-offs, and work in close partnership with engineering teams.
  • Extensive experience working with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Direct product management experience with an IT administration, cloud management, Identity and Access Management (IAM), or Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platform.
  • Deep familiarity with the administration of large-scale collaboration suites, particularly Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with products that feature a significant API, integration marketplace, or automation component (e.g., workflow engines).
  • A strong background or passion for enterprise security, data governance, and compliance concepts.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Vision:
  • Define and communicate a clear product vision and long-term strategy for gPanel, aligned with business goals, customer demands, and the competitive landscape.
  • Develop business cases and articulate your strategy to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Roadmap & Execution:

  • Technical Collaboration:
  • Serve as a key technical partner to the engineering team.
  • Collaborate closely to guide architectural decisions, define API and automation strategies for our Rules Engine, and translate complex enterprise requirements into clear, actionable user stories. A strong ability to grasp the technical nuances of the Google Workspace ecosystem is essential.
  • User & Market Research:
  • Become the undisputed expert on our users and the market.
  • Conduct customer interviews, analyze user behavior data, monitor industry trends in IT administration and security, and perform rigorous competitive analysis to identify customer pain points and uncover new opportunities for innovation.
  • Security & Compliance:
  • Champion security as a core product pillar.
  • Drive the development and enhancement of features that improve our customers’ security posture, data governance, and compliance capabilities.
  • Ensure gPanel continues to meet the stringent security requirements of sophisticated enterprise IT departments.
