Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.
Responsibilities:
LMI is seeking a driven and experienced Product Manager to lead the continued development and evolution of RAPTR (Rapid Analysis and Prototyping Toolkit for Resiliency)—our AI/ML-powered platform that helps organizations rapidly explore and assess mission scenarios, identify operational risks, and model complex decisions.
As Product Manager, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for RAPTR, working closely with engineering, data science, mission analysts, and government stakeholders. This is a critical role that requires strong product leadership in analytics and mission-focused environments, particularly those serving defense, national security, or federal agencies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of FedRAMP, security, or compliance frameworks in government systems.
  • Experience with customer discovery frameworks and structured product research.
  • Familiarity with RAPTR or similar platforms such as Polaris, Analytica, or decision analysis tools.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a federal security clearance; in order to obtain a federal security clearance, a U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product management with a focus on software products.
  • Prior experience managing analytics, modeling/simulation, or decision-support software.
  • Demonstrated success in a commercial or federal contracting environment, ideally with mission-driven products.
  • Familiarity with government or defense use cases, including scenario planning, wargaming, or operational analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Agile software development and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Exceptional communication and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance technical depth and user empathy.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and product analytics platforms
Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for RAPTR in alignment with customer missions and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—engineering, data science, UX, program management, and customers—to deliver high-impact, technically complex features.
  • Lead the planning and execution of product development across the full lifecycle, from discovery and prototyping to deployment and refinement.
  • Gather requirements from a wide range of users and stakeholders, translating them into detailed product specs and user stories.
  • Prioritize features and improvements using a clear, value-driven framework.
  • Monitor product performance, user feedback, and mission impact to inform ongoing improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with customer security, accessibility, and data-handling requirements, especially in government contexts.
  • Communicate product plans, updates, and priorities clearly across internal and external stakeholders.
