Responsibilities: Job Title: Product Manager Job Level: M or SM Reporting: Head of Biz Unit Position Summary The Product Manager is responsible in defining the product strategy, managing profitability and driving growth in existing and new markets. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen across various vegetable fats application such as confectionery, bakery and dairy. He/She will also have a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to align product initiatives with pricing strategies and margin objectives. Key Responsibilities Pricing & Margin Management Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive positioning. Monitor product cost structures, margins, and profitability metrics, recommending adjustments where needed. Collaborate with finance, sales, and marketing teams to ensure pricing aligns with overall business objectives. undefined Feedstock Management Procure feedstock required from internal oil desk, covering sales requirement to manage within risk exposure. Monitor feedstock price movement, and to advice sales team on expected outlook. undefined New Market Development Identify and assess new markets for product expansion, including geographic regions and new customer segments. Lead go-to-market strategies for entry into new markets, working with cross-functional teams to ensure success. Establish key partnerships and distribution strategies to support market penetration. undefined Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the product champion, aligning stakeholders across departments to support biz objectives. Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on product performance, pricing and market opportunities. Influence without direct authority, driving outcomes through collaboration and shared ownership. undefined Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Food Science, Agriculture, or a related field. > 7 years of experience in the specialty fats & oils industry, with a proven track record in driving commercial performance. Proven experience in market development and product management. Strong analytical skills with expertise in pricing model and margin optimization. Excellent communication, negotiation and cross-functional leadership skills. Ability to converse in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu (or Indonesia) is a plus.
