Team overview: Roundel is Target’s media and advertising business, powering measurable outcomes for brands at scale. As part of Roundel’s Measurement product organization, this role owns Reporting APIs that enable internal and external consumers to access measurement data reliably, consistently, and at scale. As API usage continues to grow, we are looking for a Product Manager to treat Reporting APIs as a first-class product surface—owning API contracts, consumer experience, and platform readiness—while partnering closely with Engineering, Data Science, and other Product Managers across Measurement. Key Responsibilities Own Reporting APIs as a Product Own end-to-end product strategy and execution for Reporting APIs Define API contracts, schemas, versioning, and deprecation strategies Ensure APIs are consistent, intuitive, and well-documented for consumers Drive Consumer Experience & Adoption Serve as the primary product point of contact for internal and external API consumers Partner with business teams, clients, and internal partners to understand consumption needs and pain points Drive increased API adoption while reducing friction and support overhead Partner on Scale, Reliability & Performance Work closely with Engineering to define requirements for performance, reliability, and scalability Help prioritize work related to latency, error handling, observability, and SLAs Balance feature development with operational excellence and platform health Required Qualifications Four-year degree or equivalent experience 4+ years of product management or equivalent domain experience Experience working on Data/API products Strong ability to partner with technology teams and translate between business and technical stakeholders Experience working in an agile environment (e.g., user stories, iterative development, scrum teams) Ability to influence without direct authority and build strong cross-functional relationships Preferred Qualifications Experience working on measurement, analytics, or reporting systems Experience supporting products with external or partner-facing consumers Useful Links: Life at Target: https://india.target.com/ Benefits: https://india.target.com/life-at-target/workplace/benefits Culture: https://india.target.com/life-at-target/belonging Target is one of the world’s most recognized brands and one of America’s leading retailers.
