OVERVIEW
The Product Manager will define product specifications based on customers’ requirements. In a close relationship with our Engineering Group, the PM will manage product definitions, technology roadmaps and schedule the different phases until mass production. This involves some knowledge both on hardware and software.
After launch, the PM will also be responsible for software maintenance, and will manage the product life cycle. The PM will oversee pre-sales activities, and RFPs responses for the related product line and customer portfolio.
The PM will develop business growth strategies in close partnership with the Sales Team, drive profitability optimizations with the procurement and factory teams, and lead technology evolutions with R&D.
You will be part of the Broadband Solutions Business Unit of Sagemcom, with a focus on CPEs for Fiber (PON) and DOCSIS product lines for Tier 1 and Tier 2 operators. The position is based in Dallas at Sagemcom USA headquarters, which manages business and product lines for operators in US and Canada. Remote applicants with extensive prior experience in this field may be considered. This position requires about 15% to 30% traveling, mainly in the United States and Canada. Compensation package will be based on prior experience.
