What You’ll Do The SKUPay Product Manager will be focused on refining the vision of the solution that aligns with current and future near-term market demands to deliver a robust roadmap. The candidate will have a true passion for technology, customer experience, and the marketplace, bringing a blend of technical background, business analysis, entrepreneurial spirit, and operational execution skills. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and self-motivated leader who designs customer-obsessed products, expertly manages a product roadmap, flexibly adapts to internal & market forces, and looks to execute with precision. The Day-to-Day: Develop and own the product direction & roadmap. Collaborate with functional stakeholders and strategic partners to package and effectively deliver new products and features to market. Partner with the Product Leadership on product strategy to meet revenue and market share goals through product design, packaging, promotion, and margin management. Work closely with technical stakeholders and product development to ensure new functionality supports uses cases and is aligned to user needs. Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify customer needs to support product strategy; maintain market vigilance of competing products and market impacts. Provide feedback to the Technical Product Owner on the content and prioritization of the product backlog. Define and track metrics that inform the success of product initiatives and bring innovative products to the market. Stay up to date on market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management and implement the latest learnings into our process and product. Evaluate, recommend, and integrate with third-party vendors to meet our customers’ needs. Define and align consumer and customer UI/UX journeys. Requirements What Supports Success in the Role Education and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or related field; master’s degree preferred. 5 years’ experience as a product manager in the payments, fintech or financial services industries. 3 years of experience in a payments ecosystem (Program Managers, Issuers, Payment Networks, Acquirers, Gateway vendors and System Integrators) preferred. Familiarity with the digital & emerging payments and retail POS platforms a plus. Experience working in a startup environment highly preferred but not required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities True passion for making frictionless products and being obsessed with the consumer and customer experience. Self-motivated team player who excels in matrixed organizations. Aptitude to learn, build consensus and solve challenging problems. Strong working knowledge or modern technology stacks and agile methodologies. Experience creating wireframes to communicate concept and product ideas. An obsession with customer research, product fidelity, and user experience. Strong executive presence; comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management. Strong influencing and partnership/collaboration skills to drive cross-functional teams. Positive, team-oriented attitude and inspiring leadership skills a must.
