Description AUO Mobility Solutions Corporation America (formerly AUO Corporation America) is seeking a technically strong and execution-focused Product Manager to own a Smart Cockpit Solutions (SCS) product line within the Product Marketing organization. This role will take full ownership of an assigned SCS product line, including product definition, roadmap management, system integration alignment, and cross-functional coordination. The Product Manager will engage broadly across OEM organizations and internal teams to translate diverse stakeholder inputs into structured, differentiated cockpit solutions. This position is ideal for someone who is ready to independently drive a product line in the automotive cockpit domain and grow into a senior product leadership role. Key Responsibilities Product Line Ownership Own and drive the roadmap for an assigned Smart Cockpit Solutions (SCS) product line Define product direction aligned with overall SCS portfolio strategy Maintain Product Requirement Documents (PRD) and key technical specifications Manage product lifecycle from concept, RFQ, development, to SOP Broad OEM Stakeholder Engagement Engage with cross-functional stakeholders across OEM organizations, including but not limited to: Engineering teams Feature planning teams Studio / design teams Architecture groups Innovation / advanced concept teams Understand platform decision drivers and technical constraints Translate diverse and sometimes ambiguous inputs into structured product definitions System-Level Integration Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams to define system architecture and key technical trade-offs Ensure alignment across display, CDC, HMI, UX, and related cockpit subsystems Balance performance, feasibility, cost, and platform timing considerations Execution & Cross-Functional Alignment Coordinate with global R&D, sales, and program management teams Support RFQ/RFI technical discussions and clarification Drive alignment between customer expectations and internal capability Ensure product direction supports development milestones and program timing Technology & Competitive Intelligence Monitor industry trends in software-defined vehicles (SDV), domain controller evolution, cockpit UX integration, and display technologies Benchmark competitor system approaches Identify product differentiation opportunities within the assigned product line Requirements Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 5–8 years of relevant automotive industry experience Direct experience in cockpit-related systems (Display, Cluster, CID, HUD, CDC, HMI, Domain Controller, or related subsystems) Experience owning or co-owning a product or subsystem through full vehicle development lifecycle (RFQ to SOP) Strong system-level thinking and technical understanding Experience engaging with multiple OEM stakeholder groups Demonstrated ownership mindset and ability to independently drive a product line Strong structured thinking and problem-solving capability Comfortable operating in a global, cross-regional organization Preferred Qualifications Experience in system architecture definition or solution integration Experience supporting early-stage concept engagement or POC development Familiarity with SDV architecture and next-generation cockpit platforms
