Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for product innovation and lifecycle management? SoloProtect Ltd is seeking a dynamic Product Manager to lead our product team and drive the development of cutting-edge personal safety solutions.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Product Manager, you’ll oversee the full product lifecycle (from idea to end of life), ensuring our mobile, app, and web-based safety products meet market needs and regulatory standards. You’ll collaborate across departments, manage technical initiatives, and ensure successful product launches and ongoing performance.
SoloProtect owns and maintains on premise and cloud infrastructure that facilitates product feature set delivery which requires this role to oversee associated technical initiatives to optimise current functions and features as well as introduce new developments

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and inspire the Product team.
  • Work closely with the VP of Product & Operations
  • Translate business goals into product strategies with measurable ROI.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards (e.g., BS8484) in all countries
  • Manage the full product lifecycle of our products from conception, optimisation & enhancement to obsolescence.
  • Manage the ongoing process of client engagement, utilising qualitative and quantitative data points to ensure the roadmap and product portfolio development is customer led and in sync with business goals & strategies.
  • Have full ownership of all specification requirements including the definition of epics, user stories, and acceptance tests with our developers, testers and end user representatives.
  • Define and lead our User Acceptance Test process with our end user representatives. Managing feedback from the test process: triage, collate and create clear issues for the development teams to resolve.
  • Own the product launch process with associated comms ensuring that all business departments are ready for launch dates on time.
  • Responsible for establishing analytics on product performance, monitoring outcomes, and providing justification for improvements to address potential issues.
  • Present & demonstrate our products/services to customers, alongside our sales teams as required.
  • Author and publish all product bulletins, application notes, training slides, help content, getting started guides and user manuals. This includes full management of the associated documentation repository so that it is highly accessible and well maintained.
  • Ensure that the features & functionality, current status and future roadmap of each product is clearly and effectively communicated to key stakeholders.
  • Manage development partners, suppliers and manufacturers throughout development and maintenance lifecycles.
  • Work with the marketing team to provide product content & ensure all product marcoms and websites are current & accurate, considering appropriate localisation/translation.
  • Collaborating with Operations and Finance to ensure an appropriate set up of product records in all company business support IT systems.
  • Representing SoloProtect in a highly professional way, acting in an advisory capacity with all stakeholders.
