SUMMARY:

In this role you will be responsible for driving business growth by optimizing our product portfolio in the industrial storage and outdoor lighting industries. Key responsibilities include developing pricing and promotion strategies tailored to material handling catalogs and internet resellers, creating strategic product plans, and leading new product launches. The position requires close collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure the product portfolio aligns with market demands and delivers strong business results.
This position will work on-site, five days a week, at our facility in Louisville, KY.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field
  • 3+ years of successful product, marketing, or project management experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external customers.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
  • Strong PC proficiency (MS Office Suite), especially Excel for analysis.

  • Develop Pricing and Promotional Strategies: Create programs that drive growth with dealers, distributors, and resellers, maximizing the value of customer-driven initiatives like rebates and volume discounts.
  • Lead New Product Development: Oversee the Stage Gate Process from concept to launch, driving top-line growth by expanding the product portfolio. Offer insights on industry trends and competitors, and coordinate company-wide efforts for successful product launches.
  • Optimize Product Portfolios: Manage pricing and product offerings to enhance margins, including feature adjustments and cost-reduction opportunities through manufacturing and engineering processes.
  • Market Analysis and Strategic Planning: Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to position our portfolios effectively. Develop and execute short- and long-term product plans.
  • Deliver Results: Meet or exceed revenue and gross margin goals to drive business growth.
