Description
This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 2 years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time As a Product Manager, you will serve as the critical link between business requirements and engineering execution—owning not just what is built, but how it is designed and delivered. This is a 0–1 product-building role, ideal for a technically strong PM who enjoys shaping system architecture, designing workflows, and collaborating deeply with engineers to build scalable, long-term platforms. You will take ownership of product workflows, screen mockups, and product decisions that balance usability, performance, and architectural integrity—bringing complex operational systems to life. Key Responsibilities Lead product discovery and development for core platform modules, including entities such as Inventory, Orders, Tasks, and operational workflows. Translate enterprise operations and standard operating procedures into scalable workflows and UI mockups using modern prototyping tools. Partner closely with engineering and tech leads to make architectural trade-offs that balance configurability, performance, and maintainability. Push back on short-term feature requests that compromise platform scalability or architectural soundness. Own PRDs, API definitions, workflows, screen flows, and ensure clarity and alignment for engineering teams. Drive sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and delivery in close coordination with development teams. Deliver internal and customer-facing demos, clearly explaining product workflows to sales, customer success, and enterprise stakeholders. Contribute to roadmap planning, balancing new feature velocity with tech debt reduction and platform stability. Support the design and rollout of AI-driven capabilities, including intelligent automation, optimization, and exception detection features. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field. 2–4 years of software engineering experience, preferably in backend or full-stack development. 1–3 years of product management experience in SaaS, logistics, or B2B platform environments. Strong experience writing PRDs, defining API contracts, and collaborating with engineering teams on system design and performance. Comfortable creating UI mocks and workflow diagrams without reliance on a dedicated design team. Solid understanding of scalability, modular architecture, and technical debt management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present roadmaps, run demos, and align diverse stakeholders. Nice to Have Experience building or working with WMS, OMS, or ERP systems. Exposure to workflow orchestration, microservices architecture, or rule-based/configurable platforms. Experience designing and explaining complex operational systems to non-technical users. Hands-on familiarity with Figma, Cursor, or similar prototyping tools.
