ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

PRODUCT MANAGER (Calgary-Hybrid, Remote Considered)
We’re looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking Product Manager who is hungry to develop and shape high impact products. Bringing a background in startups with an enterprise-grade mindset you have worked on end-to-end development and scalable projects. You have a passion for developing product strategies, conducting market research, defining product requirements, and managing the product backlog.
As a Product Manager at Ziing, you will be utilizing cutting-edge technology, leading the product strategy and roadmap for key parts of our logistics platform. Reporting to the Vice President Technology, our Product Manager will be responsible to develop and grow a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts, overseeing the progress of our current product offering and driving further development of our platform to support client needs. Having a strong understanding of product life cycles, you will work closely with customers, engineers and operations to build complex roadmaps and drive clarity across functional teams. Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders to develop product strategies and roadmaps, and communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Product Roadmap: You will own the product roadmap for all digital initiatives across web and mobile platforms.
  • Market Research: Continuously analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities and drive product improvements.
  • Revenue Model Research: Contribute to go-to-market readiness by supporting launch activities, cross-functional coordination, and tracking of product adoption and performance.
  • Features & Requirements: Define, gather and prioritize product features and requirements based on business value and customer feedback. Continuously analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities and drive product improvements.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Mentor, coach and grow a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts, fostering an environment that encourages collaboration, learning and empowerment.
  • Backlog: Develop and manage the product backlog, ensuring that it is always up-to-date and reflects the latest priorities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and testers to ensure that products are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches.
  • KPI Management: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintenance: Facilitate maintenance of status quo products.
