Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Product Market Research Consultant (6 month contract) to help us better understand trends in our industry and competitors. Your insights will directly influence our product strategy, and business growth.
This is a 40-hour/week contract role for at least 6 months to start. The ideal candidate should be based in Canada OR the U.S.

Here are the core functions, responsibilities, and expectations for this role:

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and key opportunities.
  • Analyze competitors, including pricing models, features, and marketing strategies.
  • Identify and manage third party research organizations to do specialized research.
  • Gather data from various sources (surveys, reports, competitor websites, etc.).
  • Summarize findings in clear and actionable reports or presentations.
  • Other duties as assigned and related to the nature of this role and company initiatives.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of research experience with Scybersecurity SaaS solutions.
  • Current and/or prior working experience in certificate authority industry is strongly recommended.
  • Proven experience in market research, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with research tools, data collection, and competitive analysis.
  • Ability to present findings in a structured and visually appealing format.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong background in B2B SaaS and/or security software industries.
