The Role The Product Market Manager (PMM) for is responsible for the Modular, Homogeneous and Synthetic belts product portfolio. The PMM will provide strong technical support, managing product specifications, and collaborate with OEMs to develop customized solutions. This role involves supporting the sales team in product and project assignments, ensuring competitive price positioning, and managing sales forecasts to drive market growth and profitability. Individual Accountabilities • Provide technical support to the sales team, distributors, and customers including product training. • Analyze product specifications, materials, and performance to offer the best solutions for customers. • Work closely with OEMs and End user to co-design and customize solutions based on application requirements. • Discover new product development opportunities and propose inputs to develop business case. • Conduct thorough market research and customer mapping to identify go-to-market strategies. • Develop and manage price strategies to ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability. • Conduct pricing analysis based on market trends, competitor benchmarking, and customer demand. • Collaborate with the global and regional PLM and ISM to optimize product offerings for the local market. • Lead the introduction of new product innovations and applications. What Are We Looking For • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferable in Mechanical Engineering. Masters is an advantage. • 5 years of experience in product management, technical sales, or application engineering in conveyor belts. • Strong understanding of conveyor system applications, materials, and technical specifications. • Experience in co-designing with OEMs and customizing solutions for industry applications. • Strong analytical skills for product comparison, pricing strategies, and sales forecasting. • The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey the product's value proposition to a broad audience. • Strong research and analysis skills, both quantitative and qualitative, to analyze the performance of got-to-markets. • Willing to travel for customer visits, training sessions, and technical support.
