Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Athennian is searching for an experienced Product Marketing Manager (PMM) with a proven track record in SaaS product marketing within the legal, tax, finance, treasury, compliance, or regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, insurance). The PMM will collaborate across GTM and product teams to drive strategic positioning and adoption of our innovative product, shaping and evolving our product marketing strategy to consistently deliver customer and prospect value. This role will help design and execute marketing strategies that elevate product awareness and adoption, particularly for emerging features. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in running robust competitive intelligence, product commercialization, and customer feedback programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Execute comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product launches and feature rollouts, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Positioning & Messaging: Shape product positioning and messaging to differentiate our products across verticals. Develop compelling narratives that clearly communicate the value proposition to various buyer personas.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth B2B market research and analysis to identify trends, customer pain points, and competitive threats. Use insights to shape product marketing strategies and provide feedback to product teams.
  • Go-to-Market Enablement: Partner with the product, sales, implementation, and customer success teams to create impactful enablement materials such as product presentations, sales playbooks, case studies, objection-handling guides, and competitive battlecards.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of product-related content, including datasheets, white papers, blog posts, website copy, videos, and webinars that effectively communicate product benefits to a B2B audience.
  • Monitor & Measure Performance: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product marketing activities, such as feature adoption rates, and market share. Report regularly on performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, sales, customer success, and other teams to ensure product marketing aligns with the broader company strategy and goals.
