Job Description Freshworks is seeking a Product Marketing Manager, Corporate Messaging to define and evolve the foundational messaging that powers our most visible narratives—from global keynotes and analyst briefings to vision decks, strategic announcements, and thought leadership. This is a high-impact, senior individual contributor role for a strategic storyteller who excels at distilling complex ideas into simple, resonant messaging that moves audiences across industries and regions. You will collaborate closely with product leaders, executives, communications teams, brand, and field leadership to shape the way the world understands Freshworks and our people-first AI platform. What You'll Own: Foundational Messaging & Narrative Development Build, maintain, and evolve Freshworks' foundational messaging frameworks—value propositions, narrative pillars, differentiation, and customer proof points. Own the central storytelling for major company moments: global events, user conferences, executive keynotes, analyst briefings, and strategic narratives. Ensure cross-functional alignment by developing messaging guidelines and maintaining consistency across product, field, comms, and global marketing. Executive & Event Storytelling Partner with Executive Communications and Brand teams to craft keynote scripts, vision decks, narrative documents, and executive-level storytelling materials. Shape the strategic messaging backbone for Freshworks' top-tier events and flagship moments. Analyst & Market Narrative Alignment Support Analyst Relations with briefing materials, positioning guidance, and foundational messaging that strengthen our presence in major analyst reports and market evaluations. Sharpen Freshworks' narrative around AI, customer service, and experience-platform innovation with clear competitive differentiation. Strategic Story Mining Translate product roadmaps, customer insights, and market trends into storytelling opportunities that elevate Freshworks' POV on the future of work, CX, and AI-powered experiences. Identify and shape big-picture narratives that help Freshworks articulate where the category is going—and our role in driving that shift. Please note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/week (Tues - Thurs) from either our San Mateo, CA, or Bellevue, WA office locations. Qualifications Ideal Candidate You are a storyteller with a strategist's mind—someone who can see the big picture, break it down simply, and communicate it compellingly. You likely have: 5-10 years of experience in product marketing, corporate messaging, strategic communications, brand storytelling, or executive communications (B2B SaaS preferred). A proven ability to craft executive-level narratives, keynote storylines, and messaging frameworks. Strong writing, editing, and communication skills—comfortable supporting leaders, analysts, events, and high-visibility narratives. Experience driving alignment across product, field, comms, and global teams. A knack for turning ambiguity into clarity, structure, and direction. The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Experience in AI/ML, customer service platforms, enterprise SaaS or analyst-facing messaging is a plus. What You Bring Exceptional narrative and messaging skills with a sharp instinct for simplicity. Deep audience empathy—able to translate complex ideas into meaningful stories. Confidence shaping high-stakes narratives with executives and cross-functional partners. A passion for storytelling that drives clarity, consistency, and business impact. Additional Information The annual base salary range for this position is $152,000 - $200,000. This role is also eligible for a target bonus. Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level. Bonus/equity may be available.
