Description
The Product Marketing Manager – Farm Sales will be responsible for driving marketing strategy, product positioning, and sales enablement for Goodyear’s agricultural tire portfolio in India. This role bridges product management, sales, and customer engagement to ensure Goodyear’s farm tire solutions meet the evolving needs of farmers, dealers, and OEM partners. Sales Planning & Forecasting Develop and manage monthly and annual sales forecasts in coordination with Regional Sales, Supply Chain, and Production teams. Monitor primary and secondary sales trends, analyze demand drivers (crop cycles, rainfall patterns, tractor sales, etc.), and provide actionable insights. Coordinate with Product Management and SCM for allocation and dispatch planning based on channel priorities 2. Pricing & Commercial Control Support in price management, including NBP, dealer margin structures, and OE pricing in alignment with business strategy. Ensure timely system updates in SAP for pricing, discounts, and rebate schemes. Monitor competitor pricing and market offers, support management with price benchmarking and recommendations. 3. Channel Operations & Process Management Streamline and monitor order-to-delivery (O2D) processes for both OE and Replacement channels. Drive credit control and dealer claim settlements in collaboration with Finance. Support development and management of channel incentive programs, schemes, and festival campaigns. Coordinate with Regional Offices for execution of sales promotions, secondary billing, and performance tracking. 4. Manage Product Life Cycle for the Farm BU Liaise with Sales Team for product gap analysis, understand new requirements and trends and plan for suitable products to cover white spaces and attritions. Liaise with technical and product teams for fitment testing, claim analysis, and new product introductions at OE & Replacement Channel 6. Process Excellence & System Improvements Drive automation and digitization of sales reporting and channel communication processes. Support SAP/CRM implementation and enhancements for better visibility and efficiency. Ensure adherence to company policies, audit compliance, and operational Experience: 15+ years in product marketing, preferably in agriculture, automotive, or industrial sectors Strong understanding of rural/agricultural markets in India. Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable strategies. Proven track record of managing product launches and dealer engagement programs.
