Description

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Deep understanding of marketing principles, including digital marketing, content marketing, lead generation, and customer retention strategies. Knowledge of both inbound and outbound marketing techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of the SaaS business model, including customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), subscription-based revenue models, and the importance of customer success. Experience in oil and gas is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems and analytics tools to track and optimise marketing performance.
  • Knowledge of content creation best practices, including SEO, copywriting, and multimedia content production, tailored to different stages of the buyer’s journey.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven Track Record in Marketing Leadership, preferably within a SaaS or technology-focused company.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful lead generation campaigns.
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets.

THE ROLE

We have a brand new role for a Product Marketing Manager at James Fisher AIS, where you’ll support the development and implementation of marketing strategies to generate awareness and leads within defined markets. You’ll collaborate closely with our Marketing Director to craft compelling campaigns for our leading-edge digital solutions and drive engagement with our existing customers. This role offers the opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, leveraging your expertise to shape the future of digital asset management.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Own and drive the product marketing strategy, aligning with business goals to increase brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
  • Engage regularly with the product team to ensure an in-depth knowledge of its capabilities, value propositions and development plans.
  • Continuously monitor and refine the marketing strategy to adapt to market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behaviour.
  • Lead the creation of innovative campaigns that resonate with target audiences across different channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
  • Work closely with the Group Marketing team to ensure the product marketing fits with the AIS company, and wider James Fisher Group marketing and branding.
  • Design and execute targeted campaigns to generate high-quality leads.
  • Create and manage content-driven engagement programs, including newsletters, webinars, and other communications, to keep existing customers informed and engaged with the product.
  • Leverage customer insights and feedback to tailor marketing initiatives that drive upsell, cross-sell opportunities, and long-term customer loyalty.
  • Monitor customer engagement metrics and make data-driven adjustments to enhance retention rates.
  • Manage the marketing budget.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of marketing technologies and tools.
  • Content Development and Brand Messaging.
  • Work closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to align marketing initiatives with product launches, feature updates, and customer support strategies.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing activities, regularlyanalysing performance data to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement.
  • Produce comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide visibility into the effectiveness of marketing efforts to senior leadership.
