SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Premier has an opportunity for a Product Manager to join our Marketing team. The role of the Product Manager is to identify and develop quality designed, high-performance products for market launch. It requires consumer/customer insight and technical product development skills to understand how to create exceptional products best serve the end user’s needs and win in market. The Product Manager manages a portfolio of store brand products for their evolutionary life cycle: facilitating sell-in, rolling out new products across various customers, responding to customer requests, managing product testing and reporting, among other duties. We are looking for a dynamic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for winning who desires to make a direct impact on an organization without multiple layers of bureaucracy. This hybrid position is based in White Plains, N.Y. (remote Mondays & Fridays) and reports directly to our Director of Marketing, Private Label & Category Management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Marketing preferred
  • 2+ years in product management with clear experience in project management
  • Experience in Health Care and or Beauty Categories preferred
  • Experience working with the Amazon sales platform (Seller Central) desired

    Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Product Management:

  • Manage a portfolio of private label (store brand) products through their evolutionary life cycle
  • Roll out new products across various customers: Develop and negotiate copy, work with the Creative Team to approve copy and graphics, and ensure the Master Product * Creative is optimized and leveraged across all customers
  • Respond to customer requests, including managing product refreshes and ongoing product testing
  • Identify and lead development of product improvements, cost savings, and sustainability initiatives (ex. reformulation or new packaging; new features, claims, or graphics) from concept to execution to restage and phase-in
  • Write creative briefs and provide feedback to outside vendors and Engineering on product and process improvements
  • Analyze performance of new products and product improvements, making recommendations for the future
  • Identify areas of growth, recommending new categories, new products, and/or product improvements
  • Identify SKUs for potential discontinuation based on product performance, profitability, complexity, etc.
  • Work cross-functionally with Creative, Sales, Regulatory, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing
  • Present status updates to senior management on a quarterly basis, with smaller monthly updates
