  • B.S. or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, or related functions.
  • A must: Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build consensus.
  • The ability to distill complex solutions and technology-enabled services into simple, concise messaging. Passionate about and experienced in storytelling.
  • The ability to lead multiple projects, defining scope of work and timelines, and setting priorities.
  • Strong ability to find creative solutions to sophisticated problems and identify untapped opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with a positive, proactive attitude.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

  • Experience in the Leaves or Absence Management industry.
  • A portfolio showing successful product launches, product campaigns, and writing and presentation examples.
  • Familiarity with investigating customer insights, sourcing competitive intelligence and market research to apply to product marketing activities and assets.
  • Consistent track record in growing responsibilities and/or consistent promotions.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Do you love collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product adoption and growth? In this role, you’ll leverage insights to create impactful go-to-market strategies, shape messaging, positioning, and drive buyer engagement across all stages of the journey. Your role will serve as the bridge between our Absence Management / Leaves product, sales, customer success, and enablement teams, ensuring that we drive market penetration and client outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Go-to-market: Take a leading role in launching products, defining the launch strategy, and executing on go-to-market plans in collaboration with Product, Commercial, Enablement, and Marketing to drive awareness and adoption. Be the advocate for the product’s mission and revenue opportunities.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Collaborate with cross-functional partners and synthesize available competitive insights to develop compelling messaging, positioning, and differentiation for Alight’s Leaves business, and other related technology and partner areas. Coordinate closely with Product to create clear, concise messaging that explains new enhancements and features as they are released. Own core product collateral creation and updates.
  • Campaigns and Content Support: By partnering with the Revenue and Growth, Events, ABM, Digital and Creative teams in Marketing, bring your ideas to life via the co-development of webinars, videos, blogs, eBooks, etc. to support campaigns.
  • Client storytelling: Establish Alight as a trusted leader by showcasing client success stories in the form of case studies, speaking opportunities, social media, event participation, etc. Work with Strategic Accounts, Delivery, and Value Engineering to develop opportunities.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Use your skills to stay informed on industry trends, competitor dynamics, and buying behavior to position our products effectively within the broader ecosystem of benefits. Conduct buyer research as opportunities present.
  • Sales Enablement: Partner with Enablement to support customer-facing teams with compelling trainings and sales materials, driving internal readiness to effectively position, sell, and support our product portfolio. Act as an internal champion for Leaves and proactively seek ways to educate and inspire the team.
