Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Product Marketing Team Lead to elevate our product marketing efforts and drive significant growth. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will lead a talented team of four Product Marketing Managers, playing a pivotal role in shaping how our innovative platform is positioned, launched, and adopted by our global customer base.
This is a unique opportunity to directly impact product awareness, drive feature adoption, and contribute to Channable’s continued expansion in a dynamic e-commerce landscape. While our Product team actively works on product usability, your expertise in simplifying complex concepts and creating compelling narratives will be crucial for our success.

SKILLS, TRAITS & COMPETENCIES

Product Marketing Strategy & Execution:

  • Comprehensive product marketing strategy development (global and regional).
  • Go-to-market (GTM) strategy definition and execution for product launches and feature releases.
  • Product positioning and messaging development and refinement.
  • Market and competitive research and analysis.
  • SaaS, e-commerce, and online marketing understanding.
  • Specific domain expertise is a plus: Feed management, marketplaces, CSS (Comparison Shopping Services), PPC advertising, and dynamic creatives.

Leadership & Management:

  • Team leadership, development, and mentorship (for 4 PMMs).
  • Talent assessment and performance management.
  • Fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Prioritization and resource allocation.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Senior-level stakeholder management, particularly with Product Leads, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Ability to influence product roadmap discussions and strategic decisions.
  • Building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Alignment of product marketing efforts with broader business objectives.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.

Analytical & Data-Driven:

  • KPI definition, tracking, and reporting (product awareness, adoption, MRR impact).

Responsibilities
  • Develop & Execute Global Product Marketing Strategy: Define and implement a comprehensive product marketing strategy aligned with Channable’s overarching business objectives, focusing on increasing product awareness, driving adoption of key modules (Feed Management, Marketplaces, PPC Optimization, Creatives, and CSS).
  • Strategic Messaging & Positioning: Own and support the team to continuously refine clear, compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with our target audiences, differentiates Channable in the competitive e-commerce landscape, and simplifies complex product functionalities.
  • Go-to-Market Excellence: Oversee the strategic planning and flawless execution of product launches, new feature releases, and major product updates, ensuring maximum impact on market entry and adoption.
  • Lead & Inspire a High-Performing Team: Build, develop, and mentor a team of Product Marketing Managers, fostering a collaborative, data-driven, and innovative environment. Champion best practices in product marketing and support individual growth paths.
  • Cross-Functional Strategic Partnership: Act as a senior strategic partner to Product Leads, providing market insights, influencing product roadmap definitions, and ensuring alignment between product development and market needs. Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and other Marketing teams to ensure a unified go-to-market approach.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Oversee in-depth market and customer research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities to better position Channable’s solutions to increase product adoption.
  • Sales & Customer Enablement: Lead the team in the creation of high-impact sales and customer success enablement materials, including product presentations, battlecards, demo scripts, customer case studies, and training content that empowers our sales and customer success teams.
  • Content & Campaign Direction: Advise on the creation of engaging content, speaker sessions, and campaigns that effectively communicate product value, drive awareness, and encourage adoption across various marketing channels (e.g., website, webinars, relevant customer events, and customer communications).
  • Performance Measurement & Optimization: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including product awareness, overall product adoption, module-specific adoption, and opportunities generated by product marketing initiatives, continuously optimizing strategies based on data insights.
