Construction is in crisis. It is one of society’s largest and most important industries, yet its productivity growth has lagged the broader economy for several decades. In many geographies and for many building types, it’s more expensive and time-consuming to build now than it was 30 years ago.
At Miter, our mission is to make it faster and cheaper to build infrastructure like bridges, roads, schools, and housing. We’re leveraging recent breakthroughs in payments infrastructure to build radically better HR and finance software, giving contractors more visibility into and control over critical HR and finance workflows, helping them bid on more projects, make smarter decisions, and build stronger teams.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Miter is hiring a fullstack engineer that will play a central role in defining the processes and technologies we’ll use to build applications and services for the next generation of contractors. As an early member of Miter’s team, you will also help shape Miter’s culture and working norms. This is a perfect role for engineers with a founder’s mindset.
