We are now looking for a Product Operations Coordinator - Catering to join our team on a fixed term contract basis from October 2024 until February 2025 based in Tennis HQ.
As this is a seasonal contract, we request full availability and flexibility, particularly across the summer months of December-February.

About the role
As a Product Operations Coordinator - Catering, you will support the set-up, operations and successful end-to-end delivery of Catering across Australian Open event locations.

In this role you will:

  • Support the delivery of AO food, dining and restaurants in the stages of cost and logistics feasibility, contracting, planning, bump in and bump out phase, and for the event duration.
  • Work with the Catering Operations Lead to coordinate costs and budgets for each location.
  • Support operational delivery for all appointed food vendors, catering groups and restaurant partners.
  • Support the Experience Ambassador Staffing Manager with their food & restaurant specific workforce.
  • Work directly with the Catering Lead to facilitate catering requirements in Player and Workforce spaces.
  • Manage all menu recording and uploading to our appointed POS system

About you

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Qualification in Hospitality Operations and/or Event Management would be highly desirable.
  • A minimum of three years working in large scale catering or major events.
  • A strong understanding and background within the food and hospitality industry.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and make sound professional judgements
  • You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
