WHY SHOULD YOU BE PART OF OUR SUCCESS STORY?

As the fastest-growing Software as a Service (SaaS) company in history, Deel is transforming how global talent connects with world-class companies – breaking down borders that have traditionally limited both hiring and career opportunities. We’re not just building software; we’re creating the infrastructure for the future of work, enabling a more diverse and inclusive global economy. Our momentum is reflected in our achievements and customer satisfaction: CNBC Disruptor 50, Forbes Cloud 100, Deloitte Fast 500, and repeated recognition on Y Combinator’s top companies list – all while maintaining a 4.83 average rating from 15,000 reviews across G2, Trustpilot, Captera, Apple and Google.
Your experience at Deel will be a career accelerator. At the forefront of the global work revolution, you’ll tackle complex challenges that impact millions of people’s working lives. With our momentum—backed by a $12 billion valuation and $1 B in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in just over five years—you’ll drive meaningful impact while building expertise that makes you a sought-after leader in the transformation of global work.
We are seeking a Product Operations Manager to join our fast-growing payroll SaaS team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our product and operations, ensuring our payroll platform remains competitive, efficient, and aligned with the needs of local users. You will work closely with cross-functional operational teams—such as payroll operations, customer support, sales, and account management—to uncover system pain points, identify enhancement opportunities, and support the successful delivery of product updates that resonate with the market.
Unlike a traditional Product Manager, this role does not interface directly with engineering. Instead, you will act as the operational lens into product development—surfacing requirements, designing and improving workflows, and ensuring seamless product-to-process alignment. While knowledge of payroll legislation is important, this is not a compliance role—you will not be responsible for interpreting or implementing legislative changes. Your focus is on functionality, usability, and process scalability.

  • Knowledge of payroll legislation(s) and practices.
  • Prior experience working with or managing payroll software platforms
  • Proficiency in data analysis, BI tools (SQL, Looker, Snowflake, Datadog, Excel/Sheets) and superior presentation skills to effectively communicate insights and recommendations.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to investigate complex issues and propose scalable solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication.
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Basic technical knowledge of software development
