Significant experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in financial services, ideally building products for accountants, bookkeepers or other professional services audiences
Deep understanding of how accountants and bookkeepers operate day to day, including practice workflows, client management, and common accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
Experience taking a product from early MVP to a fully-fledged proposition, ideally within banking, fintech or professional services software
Strong commercial acumen — comfortable owning OKRs and making data-driven prioritisation decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to operate confidently across technical, commercial and regulatory audiences
Decisive, with a track record of moving quickly while maintaining quality and managing risk appropriately
Experience working in agile squads with Engineers, Designers, Data Analysts and Operations

About you
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
At least five years of experience in a customer-facing role
Previous experience as a Product Manager or Product Specialist, including specific experience with product lifecycles and design processes
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience within the IT, cloud or communications industry would be advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time-management and prioritisation skills
The ability to interpret customer requirements and consistently deliver high levels of customer satisfaction
