Description

At Area of People, we build more than just software: we create livable neighborhoods. Our AI-driven community platform connects residents with each other and with real estate providers—from investors to housing associations. This way, we support them in measurably strengthening their social impact.
Right now, we are looking for a Product Owner who thrives in a scale-up environment, where priorities matter and outcomes are more important than output. This role is not about just managing a backlog, it’s about owning the full product journey: defining success metrics, validating requirements with both clients and residents, and making data-driven decisions on what to build, improve, or even remove.
This is a role for someone who combines resilience with curiosity, embraces feedback, and can turn complex input into clear, outcome-driven product direction.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED:

  • Background in B2B2C or SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with property management or resident engagement.
  • Experience in requirements engineering or project management.
Responsibilities
  • Set and adapt the product vision and roadmap based on data and company goals.
  • Collect and validate requirements from multiple sources and translate them into product direction.
  • Engage management and co-founders in key product decisions to ensure strategic alignment and shared ownership.
  • Draft early user flows or wireframes before involving design to keep pace and clarity.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI and the engineering team to deliver solutions that work.
  • Define success metrics, track outcomes, and use analytics to guide iteration.
  • Share priorities and progress clearly across the company.
  • From concept to adoption, you ensure features fit into the full customer journey.
