Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Product Owner for our Azure Landing Zone as part of a global IT service in Germany. As the Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our organization's Azure cloud infrastructure foundation. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills to drive the successful adoption of Azure services across the enterprise. Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing operations of the Azure Landing Zone Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize requirements for the Azure Landing Zone Develop and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and technical standards Facilitate sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings in an Agile environment Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding Azure Landing Zone capabilities and roadmap Continuously assess and optimize the Azure Landing Zone to improve performance, security, and cost-efficiency Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services and features, incorporating relevant advancements into the Landing Zone strategy The Product Owner for Microsoft Landing Zone steers a small team with non-disciplinary lead Qualifications Academic Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Proven experience in product ownership or project management, preferably in cloud infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, architecture, and best practices Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and solve complex problems Strong technical background in IT infrastructure or cloud computing Experience with DevOps practices and tools is preferred Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) are highly desirable PowerShell and scripting knowledge Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus Knowledge of compliance and security standards in cloud environments Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment A strong degree of social skills Excellent English language skills; German language skills are beneficial Applications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
