A leading financial services organisation is looking for an experienced Product Owner to join a large-scale technology transformation. The role will be responsible for shaping product outcomes, working closely with business and technology stakeholders, and supporting the delivery of customer-focused solutions across a complex banking environment.

The Product Owner will take ownership of product priorities, translating business needs into clear requirements and working closely with delivery teams to ensure solutions deliver meaningful business value.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and manage the product vision, roadmap and priorities
• Translate business and customer needs into clear features, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Manage and prioritise the product backlog
• Work closely with Business Analysts, technology teams and delivery squads
• Engage with a broad range of business and technology stakeholders
• Make informed prioritisation decisions based on customer and business outcomes
• Support planning, delivery and resolution of dependencies and competing priorities
• Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives and customer needs

About the candidate:

• Proven Product Owner experience within banking or financial services
• Strong understanding of Agile product delivery
• Experience working in complex, enterprise technology environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong commercial and customer focus
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements
• Comfortable managing competing priorities and working across multiple teams
• Strong understanding of technology and the ability to work effectively with technical delivery teams
