Let’s shape the future of wealth management together. We are looking for a Product Owner to help us lead digital work streams with a client-obsessed mindset. Being part of the bank’s Client & Employee Channels team, you will be acting as a customer advocate, working together with technology teams to ensure that key requirements are being delivered as part of the product backlog. Successful candidates possess understanding of banking across wealth management and private banking, exposed to innovation & transformation trends in the industry and are experienced in agile ways of working and engagement of stakeholders across departments and geographies. The candidate will be a member of the Client & Employee Channels team and support the engagement & delivery of the Client & Employee Channels roadmap to support the Bank’s growth strategy globally. YOUR CHALLENGE Functional Work with Business, Technology, Markets & Product teams to conceptualize the digital user journeys. Gather and define requirements, design & prioritise features, work with technology and other team members on delivery Understand internal and external customer needs, derive the overall product vision, lead the stakeholder management, prioritise the overarching change and run backlog along the epics & features prioritised in the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) Own & be accountable for assigned products across its lifecycle and responsible to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Collaborate with Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to build the required functionality. Responsible to manage dependencies across ARTs and ensure trade-offs and prioritisation decisions are managed. Manage business and senior stakeholders by acting as a partner and trusted advisor. Ensure continuous user feedback loops during the agile delivery. Be comfortable with articulating the design, change and implementation strategy through presentation materials Work with Change Management to plan and orchestrate training activities. Create easy-to-understand training and engagement material for clients and front office Establish strong project management best practices with structure, clear roles & responsibilities, refinement of backlog etc. Extract relevant insights from client’s online behaviour and client usability testing to continuously iterate the client journeys to improve the product experience. Implement framework to drive adoption and usage, establish feedback loop to ensure that the product meets the needs of clients Regulatory Responsibilities, Risk Management Collaborate with legal & compliance teams to assess regulatory considerations of digital solutions Demonstrate appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations RANK APPLICABLE TO THE POSITION Director YOUR PROFILE SKILLS required OF THE POSITION Professional and Technical At least 8-10 years’ experience with working as a Product Owner in a financial institution, fintech, technology or consultancy company Experience in defining a vision and strategy for a digital solution, product or service and have successfully managed the full product lifecycle from idea-stage to scaling, including integration of user feedback into product requirements and driving prioritisation Familiar with client needs in wealth management and private banking. Good understanding of business processes, process design, and process re-engineering. Especially in the areas of channels, digital notifications, online trading and portfolio & position management Experience with product discovery and delivery concepts on understanding user needs, identify opportunities and demonstrate successful, impactful delivery Knowledge of agile methodology and experience of partnering with research, design, change and technology in a design thinking and agile framework Demonstrated capability for problem solving and decision making. Track record of prioritising and making trade-offs by objectively evaluating opportunities vs potential pitfalls Ability to manage global virtual teams and communicate with stakeholders at any seniority level Strong analytical and investigation skills, with an ability to resolve issues in a demanding and challenging environment Ability to apply sound business acumen, risk & control principles and data analytics techniques to derive insights and steer decision making Personal and Social Enthusiastic collaborator and team player with a positive attitude Ability to think pragmatically and drive execution of concepts. Analyse, prioritise, resolve issues and take decisions during challenging times Have excellent communication skills. Ability to process information quickly, break complex matters down Ability to articulate ideas clearly through daily engagements and presentations. Comfortable presenting in front of senior leadership & cross functional stakeholders to get required decisions Proven ability to manage large cross-functional project teams across regions Action oriented, with a focus on continuous improvement in all areas of works Have grit, don’t give us easily.
