Responsibilities

A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE

As our Product Owner, you will work within a highly skilled team in an Agile environment.
You will be the voice of the customer as well as working with stakeholders to understand their needs and build a clear vision, roadmap and backlog that delivers value to the business.
As our Product Owner, you will develop a deep understanding of our products, the business areas which leverage the products and the wider market forces driving the business.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders in order to share knowledge, complex ideas, provide updates and take on feedback.
  • Translate complex business and technical problems to stakeholders.
  • Support the Squad in defining sprint goals, reviewing sprints and continually improving ways of working to maximise value.
  • Engage business and technical stakeholders to define a product roadmap that supports the strategic objectives and the product vision.
  • Use agile practices to stay responsive to business needs and deliver value - find innovative ways to solve problems and to shape the delivery.
  • Become a domain expert within your business line and associated systems.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE?

You will be an experienced Product Owner looking to work in a Global organisation building remote stakeholder relationships. Confident in your abilities to influence, this role will give you the opportunity to drive forward your products.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • You will be a natural leader with the ability to engage people at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience in the Identity and Access Management space would be highly advantageous: (e.g. Ping, ForgeRock, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD, OneLogin, SailPoint… etc) would be preferable.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities with value-based decision making, providing strategic direction to the Squad in order to deliver Squad commitments.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data and present it in accessible formats.
  • Experience in agile requirements techniques including Personas, Story Mapping, Product Roadmaps, Backlog Management, etc.
  • Experience of Agile software development – working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment, encouraging the adoption and continuous improvement of practices.
